Tickets and pricing

UK Super League tickets typically run £20–40 for adults, £8–15 for juniors. Most clubs sell direct from their official site; some use Ticketmaster. Regular fixtures have walk-up availability; derbies and play-offs sell out.

NRL tickets are typically A$25–65. Sydney clubs tend to sell out big fixtures; suburban clubs are easier to walk up to. For Magic Weekend and finals, book early.

What to wear for UK matches

Super League season runs February–October. Most British rugby league grounds are open to the elements. A waterproof jacket is non-negotiable — not optional. Layer underneath. If it's a July Magic Weekend you'll likely be fine in a t-shirt, but pack a jacket anyway. The English summer is aspirational.

• Waterproof jacket — the single most important item for UK matches
• Insulated flask — tea in cold weather is rugby league tradition
• Small clear bag — most modern grounds have bag size restrictions
• Cash and card — many grounds are card-only now, but carry both
• Emergency poncho — if you forgot the jacket

Stadium etiquette

• Stand for the kicker: most home crowds go quiet during conversion attempts. Away fans typically don't.
• The ref is fair game: rugby league referees are talked to far more than union refs. Standard banter, almost never abusive.
• Stay until full time: rugby league has more come-from-behind wins than almost any sport. The six-tackle clock and high scoring keep matches alive. Leaving early is bad form.
• Mix freely: most British grounds don't segregate away fans the way football does. Family-friendly even at derbies.

After the match
