About Rugby League Streams
An independent rugby league streaming reference. No clickbait, no ads from advertisers we don't trust, no fake breaking-news.
Why this site exists
Rugby league broadcast rights are a fragmented mess. Sky has Super League in the UK on a deal through 2027. BBC carries 10 live matches plus 5 on iPlayer. Foxtel and Kayo own NRL in Australia. Channel 9 shows three free-to-air matches per round. Sky Sport NZ has exclusive Kiwi rights. Watch NRL covers everywhere except Australia. France has Rugbyrama (free) for Catalans and Toulouse, and Super League+ for everything else. Sportdigital covers Germany, Rogers Sportsnet covers Canada, Premier Sports Asia covers Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
If you've ever tried to find out where to watch a specific Super League match in the United States, or whether the Challenge Cup Final is free in your country, you'll know how scattered the answers are. Forum posts go stale. Aggregator sites hallucinate. Streaming service marketing pages only mention their own service. Rugby League Streams exists to be the single page that gives you the right answer for your country, every time.
Who runs this
Rugby League Streams is run by an FA-qualified coach based in the UK. Rugby league has been a lifelong sport — this site is a labour of love around a full-time coaching career, not a venture-funded content farm. Every page on this site has been written, fact-checked, and corrected by a human; we don't generate articles from prompts and ship them un-edited.
What we cover
Every major rugby league competition: the NRL, Super League, State of Origin, NRLW, the Challenge Cup, the Rugby League World Cup, the Pacific Championships, the Championship and League 1, Magic Weekend, and the Las Vegas Round. Coverage is deepest in the eight largest rugby league markets (UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, USA, Canada, France, PNG) with templated coverage extending to a further 21 countries. Every Super League and major NRL club has a dedicated page, every notable stadium has a venue guide, and we track confirmed transfers and head coach changes through a sourced data feed.
What we don't do
We don't publish transfer rumours — only confirmed moves with a public source. We don't write match previews based on imagined narratives. We don't run banner ads from networks that follow you around the internet. We don't send you push notifications. We don't aggressively pop up newsletter modals; the signup is at the bottom of every page if you want it.
How we make money
Some links to streaming services on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a service through one of those links, the streaming company pays us a small one-off commission at no extra cost to you. We only ever recommend the legal options that are best for the reader's location and use case — affiliate relationships do not influence which broadcaster we describe as "best" for a given country, and we list every legitimate option whether or not we have an affiliate relationship with them. Full disclosure here.
Editorial corrections
Spotted something out of date? A new rights deal we haven't picked up? A team's roster shifted? Drop us a line at hello@rugbyleaguestreams.com and we'll fix it. We log corrections silently rather than publishing change-logs, but the rights data file at /feed/broadcasters.json shows the current state of our data at any time.
Privacy
We use Plausible for analytics — privacy-respecting, no cookies, no individual tracking. We don't collect personal information beyond what you explicitly provide if you join the newsletter. Full privacy policy here.
Sources we trust
Where we cite specific transfers, coaching changes, or rights deals, we link to the original announcement — usually one of the official club, league, or broadcaster sites; or one of the trusted rugby league outlets: BBC Sport, Total Rugby League, Love Rugby League, Serious About Rugby League. For French coverage we trust Le Groupe La Dépêche, L'Indépendant, Midi Olympique, and Rugbyrama. We don't cite social-media leaks unless and until they're confirmed by a club statement.
